All of the brushes are manufactured by Silver Brush Company and are all Sterling Studio brand brushes except for the rigger which is a Silver White brush. Sterling Edwards' Blending and Glazing Brush Set - This is the signature set of brushes that Sterling designed himself to be used with watercolors for achieving beautiful blended shapes and glazing color. The stiff bristles of the brushes actually get into the tooth of the paper and make blending much easier. In addition to blending, they also work beautifully for heavy applications of paint and soft glazes of transparent color. Because the handles are plastic, you will no longer have to deal with paint chipping from the handles as you do with wooden handles. The distinctive blue plastic handle is form fitted to the hand and the brushes have a rustproof seamless ferrule for long life. The sizes of the brushes are 1", 1-1/2" and 2".
Big Brush Watercolor Palette - This is the palette that Sterling designed specifically for those who like to paint with large brushes as he does. The palette is made of heavy duty plastic and has 14 individual color wells and 8 slanted wells for premixing large reservoirs of color. All of the wells will accommodate a brush as wide as 2". In addition, there is a large flat center mixing area. The palette comes with a lid that can be used as an additional mixing area.

"Wet on Wet Watercolors" DVD - This is a 2-disc set in which Sterling does 3 complete paintings that all begin with a wet on wet application of paint. Wet on wet is one of the most beautiful aspects of watercolor and allows the artist to create mood and mystery in a painting with soft transitions of color. Sterling also shows you his unique 4-step system that adds an element of structure to the painting process. The first painting is a misty wooded scene. The second painting is a very moody snow scene with an overcast sky and the third is a delicate grouping of Irises.
